For anyone interested in a day-trip to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve near La Farge, WI, I will be giving a half-day Nature Writing Workshop (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) there on Saturday, June 16, sponsored by the Driftless Writing Center. On Sunday, April 22 (Earth Day), 2018, I will be participating in a Black Earth Institute-sponsored event titled Intersections 2018: Writing from Planet Earth, at Olbrich Gardens in Madison Wisconsin. The event runs from 1-4 p.m. (The session I am involved with runs from 2-3 p.m., focusing on opposition to the proposed Cardinal-Hickory Transmission Lines.) The event is free and open to the public.
